Srila Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of the worldwide Hare Krishna Movement desired that his disciples become instruments in ensuring an all-round development of the Vrindavan the transcendental holy place of pastimes of Lord Krishna. Devotees of ISKCON Bangalore in pursuance of this desire set up Hare Krishna Movement Vrindavan(HKM-V). HKM-V intends to envision and bring to fruition many initiatives for development of Vrindavan dham. Hare Krishna Movement Vrindavan is part of the confederation of institutions of the world-wide Hare Krishna Movement.

Hare Krishna Movement Vrindavan is governed by a Board of Trustees who are initiated disciples of Srila Prabhupada, and full-time dedicated sevaites of the mission. They have considerable experience in the governing affairs of the movement. The trustees are bound by a code of conduct based on teachings of Srila Prabhupada to maintain the highest degree of transparency, morality and accountability. They voluntarily adopt principles of simple living and high thinking as directed by Srila Prabhupada.

The board consists of at least two executive members who are involved closely with the various activities of the trust. The other non-executive members play the role of advising on key strategic initiatives and monitoring the activities and initiatives. None of the trustees take any remuneration from the trust, except for their basic existential necessities as outlined in the code of conduct. The Board embraces the instructions of Srila Prabhupada as their life and soul.  They see themselves as instruments in Srila Prabhupada’s hands to maintain, preserve the legacy of Sri Vrindavan dham.

Sri Madhu Pandit Dasa

Sri Madhu Pandit Dasa dedicated his life to serving the mission of Srila Prabhupada since 1981. He is the creative architect behind the magnificent cultural complex in Bangalore. It was designed and built under his guidance.

The special architecture of the temple with regard to the grandeur and elegance bears testimony to his engineering skills (a former IITian from Mumbai, India). The Akshaya Patra program initiated by him provides free mid-day meals for underprivileged children in Government schools in several states across India. Today, Akshaya Patra is the world’s largest non-governmental organization-run school meal program that feeds over 15 lakh children every day in 10 states.

In recognition of this outstanding service, Sri Madhu Pandit Dasa has been conferred the prestigious Padma Shri award by the Government of India. Currently, he is involved in the design and development of the Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir which is conceived by the devotees of ISKCON Bangalore. A unique, 210-metre-tall shrine for Lord Krishna, this is going to be the tallest temple in the world. This architectural marvel is being constructed in the holy land of Vrindavana. He has also been involved in the personal development of various missionaries of Hare Krishna Movement centers around India, he guides different aspects of missionary activities related to direction and management of the centers of the Hare Krishna Movement.

He is a tall leader with more than three decades of experience in practicing Krishna Consciousness. His impeccable spiritual knowledge about Vedic texts is jaw-dropping. The analogies and examples he uses in his lectures make it easy for his audience to understand complex subject-matter. His lectures will leave you contemplating on the issue.

He is currently also serving as the Chairman of the Governing Body Committee of the world-wide Hare Krishna Movement, Chairman of the Akshaya Patra Foundation and President ISKCON Bangalore

Sri Chanchalapathi Dasa

Chanchalapathi Dasa was born in 1963 in Bengaluru, India. While an undergraduate student in PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, he became interested in the message and mission of Srila Prabhupada. Later he joined the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore for the Masters programme in Electrical Communication Engineering. In 1984 he became a full-time dedicated member of ISKCON in Bengaluru and soon became the Vice President of the center. He is spearheading the movement with great zest and dedication. His immaculate communication skills and educational background have been instrumental in the implementation of various programs at the temple.

Shri Chanchalapathi Dasa is known for his articulate speeches based on the teachings of our spiritual master, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. His lectures are characterized by clarity, lucidness, and a detailed analysis of the subject in discussion. His lectures give different angles of vision, facilitating a deeper understanding of the philosophy.

Akshaya Patra, the midday meal program for schools is one of the many initiatives, which was co-founded by Chanchalapathi Dasa. He has contributed immensely to its expansion. He played a major role in the production of Little Krishna – a popular animated series on the childhood pastimes of Lord Krishna. It was created in English, and also released in several other Indian languages. He and his team of devotees worked untiringly for seven years, and the result was 13-episodes of animated Little Krishna series. Chanchalapathi Dasa was at the helm in research, concept and design of this venture.

He is currently also the Vice Chairman of the Governing Body Committee of the world-wide Hare Krishna Movement, Vice Chairman of the Akshaya Patra Foundation and Senior Vice President ISKCON Bangalore.

Sri Jai Chaitanya Dasa

was born in 1966 in Kerala, India. He came in touch with the teachings of Srila Prabhupada while pursuing his undergraduate course in Commerce at the Mahatma Gandhi College, Trivandrum. He joined the Hare Krishna Movement in 1984. He was a pioneer in ISKCON Bangalore’s organic farming and rural development programs. Currently, he is serving as the Temple President of ISKCON Mysore and heading its activities.

He is currently also the Secretary of the Governing Body Committee of the world-wide Hare Krishna Movement, President of ISKCON Mysore and Vice President ISKCON Bangalore.

Sri Stoka Krishna Dasa

Shri Stoka Krishna Dasa has been serving the mission of Srila Prabhupada as a full-time missionary with ISKCON Bangalore since 1989. He had a vast experience in the professional field before joining the movement. Having served as the president of ISKCON Mysuru, he has shouldered many key responsibilities for the movement. He currently is heading the activities of Hare Krishna Movement Center in Chennai.

In addition, he is also involved in training and counselling full-time missionaries at the center. Sri Stoka Krishna Dasa is a good singer of Vaishnava songs, and also an expert at reciting scriptural verses and Vedic mantras with proper accent and meter.

He is noted for his lectures, which exhibit a great depth of his knowledge in the philosophy of Krishna Consciousness. He is adept in satisfying the spiritually inquisitive minds. He is also conducting the Bhakti Shastri course for devotees all over India through Skype sessions.

He is currently also the Treasurer of the Governing Body Committee of the world-wide Hare Krishna Movement, President of Hare Krishna Movement Chennai and Vice President ISKCON Bangalore.

Sri Amitasana Dasa

Sri Amitasana Dasa is a full-time missionary with ISKCON Bangalore since 1992. He currently serves as the head of the Hare Krishna Movement in Mumbai.

He is highly experienced in delivering youth oriented spiritual lectures. His week-end seminars and workshops on personality development based on the Vedic wisdom have immensely benefited hundreds of students and young professionals from all over the city.

By attending his sessions, they have been inspired to lead a life of happiness, health and peace of mind, guided by spiritual principles. Under the ‘Life Sublime’ program, he has also provided counselling for several people through one-on-one sessions in order to help them grow spiritually.

His lectures are unique; they are a blend of theoretical knowledge and its practical application in life. He teaches you to implement the philosophy with a humble approach.

He is also the member of the Governing Body Committee of the world-wide Hare Krishna Movement, President of Hare Krishna Movement Mumbai and Vice President ISKCON Bangalore.
